MONGOOSE VT201
The VT201 is a GPS/GSM tracking device that provides the security of being wired to your vehicle - 12volt only. (A 24V-12V converter can be installed by Carline if required).
Locate and track almost anything or anyone, anytime. Perfect for your bach or boat or RV.
If your alarm sounds, your vehicle battery is disconnected, or the trackers own internal back-up battery runs low, it sends a GSM text alert message together with its GPS location.
A quick and easy install for our qualified technicians.
This unit requires both GPS and GSM reception to send and receive messages.
The VT201 is a cheap unit to run, as unlike most other systems, your only costs are:
- The initial installation price
- A SIM card and its usage (basic plan recommended)
Want to know where it is? Just call the tracker from your mobile phone and it replies with a text message giving its latitude and longitude – just type the co-ordinates on any computer into Google Maps or Google Earth to find the location. Or set-up 'auto-track' so it sends you its location at time intervals of your choice.
For only $850 fully installed this little unit provides a lot of reassurance and security.
